How to get what service?

01. Dismissal of registered deposits and consolidation of deposits


According to the provisions of the State Acquisition and Citizenship Act, 1950, registration-deposit-dismissal-deposit-consolidation and record correction is done in view of the application with photo in the prescribed form by the government. Currently it takes 45 working days to get this service. It will cost 250 rupees.


02. Providing agricultural land settlement


Landless persons are provided settlement as per the policy of Agricultural Land Settlement at a sum of Tk. For this, an application has to be made to the Assistant Commissioner (Lands). It takes 90 days for landless selection, upazila and district committee approval.


03. Non-agricultural land tenure long-term settlement in view of the application of the person or institution, according to the non-agricultural land tenure long-term settlement policy, the settlement has been provided at the market price in different categories. It takes a total of 90 days including on-site investigation, verification of records and approval of the Ministry of Lands.


04. Chandina VT located at Hat Bazar is providing one-time settlement


Chandina VTs located in peri-ferry authorized haat bazaars are given a maximum of 0.0050 acres or half a century of land for one year lease to only one person per family considering occupancy. For this, an application has to be made to the Assistant Commissioner (Lands). It takes a total of 30 days including on-site investigation, verification of records and approval by the District Commissioner.


05. Sayrat Mahal Management


Sayrat mahal or hat bazaar, government pond, lake, sand mahal, ferry ghat, etc. are paid for girls determined by calling for tenders at the end of the Bengali year. The lease payment period and execution period are mentioned in the tender schedule.


06. Preservation of records and Mouza maps


SA/RS Khatian, Published BS Khatian, and Mauza Map are maintained in Upazila Land Office.


07. Collection of land development tax


Municipal/Union land offices under this upazila collect land development tax.
