Language and culture

Bengali is the main language of Chauhali upazila. However, like other regions of Bangladesh, the tension of linguistic regionalism can be observed in this upazila. There are various cultural institutions including 53 clubs, 6 libraries, 1 cinema hall and 10 playgrounds in this upazila.
